An English classic

Cheddar cheese is to England what Camembert is to France - a national treasure. Originating in Somerset in western England, Cheddar is still made the traditional way. Typically aged for between 9 and 18 months, it is bold and flavourful with a rich saltiness and endless aftertaste. Swedish cheddar manufactured by Kvibille is aged 6-18 months and flavoured with various spirits. Although it has become something of a classic at the Swedish Christmas table (where it is eaten with a spoon and enjoyed in large pieces), it makes a welcome addition to the cheese board at any time – regardless of the season.
