A creamy, sharp French favourite

A general term for French goats cheese, Chèvre is a white mold cheese available in several varieties such as Banon, Brique chèvre, Cabri gatineu, Chabichou du Poitou, Chabis and Chevrotin. French goats cheese is usually cylindrical, with a creamy texture and sharp taste. For a classic hors d’oeuvre, toast white bread and top with goats cheese cream, honey, and walnuts.
