Pear Compote with Roasted Almonds

  • 2 firm pears
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 40g almonds, blanched and peeled
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt flakes
Pear Compote with Roasted Almonds


Cut the pears into pieces. Melt the honey and butter in a pan until golden. Add the pears and rosemary. Cook into a compote over low heat. Preheat the oven to 175°C. Oven-roast the almonds in olive oil for approx. 15 min. Sprinkle with salt and let cool.
